As a result of increasing environmental contamination in Japan and the rest of the world, restrictions on the use of chlorinated solvents and hydro-chlorofluorocarbons (HCFC), widely used in the industrial cleaning industry, are becoming stricter every year. We have been proposing use of alternative substances for over 20 years, the experience in which enables us to provide comprehensive alternative systems that can include hydrocarbon-based cleaning solvents and other next-generation hydrofluoric olefin (HFO) cleaning agents, as well as cleaning equipment.
Various mill rolls used in steel-related facilities; high-end pumps that can be used with a wide range of fluids without deteriorating them; and many others … We can propose and provide unique, Japan-made products. Global logistics for dangerous products
Our proven track record in handling flammable hydrocarbon-based cleaning solvents over a number of years has led to the establishment of a hazardous material dedicated logistic system covering China and Southeast Asian countries, using regular container ships. This then enables us to provide just-in-time supply services using bonded warehouses, etc.

Industrial cleaning facilities
Hydrocarbon-based cleaning system
CLEANVY Series
- A continuous cleaning-drying system that supports short tact-times (standard tact-time: 5 min.)
- The system achieves precision cleaning via a combination of vacuum ultrasonic washing with degassing solvent and vertical oscillation methods
- A higher solvency recovery rate achieved via vacuum drying.
Vacuum cleaning and drying system with use of emulsions
- Extremely effective in removing both oily dirt (chemical cleaning with hydrocarbon-based solvent) and water soluble dirt (physical cleaning using dispersed particles).
- Use of the system together with a vacuum cleaning system supports cleaning inside fine holes.
- The system has been introduced by a number of Super Hard Tools fields and automotive parts manufacturers for cleaning before PVD or DLC coating.
Inline type ultrasonic cleaner for hoop materials
- An inline and compact type cleaner that is usable with hoop materials of widths of 10 to 500 mm (usable with steel hoop material)
- Our proprietary conveying system does not result in any deformations or other adverse effects on even delicate products.
- Easy installation and low running cost minimize user burden.
High-performance pumps
Double-screw pump
- The pump uses a system that transfers the fluid within a cylinder, thereby reducing the radial load and ensuring smoother transfers without any resulting pulsation, agitation or shearing.
- Strong suction force and high-speed rotation but low-noise levels.
- Easy disassembly and cleaning.
- Best-suited for transferring high-density slurries.
- Can transfer fluids without any agitation.
- Widely used in a variety of industries, which include food (chocolate, ketchup, etc.), pharmaceutical products, and cosmetics (creams, gels, etc.).

Defoaming pump
- An innovative pump with a defoaming function that was realized by adding vacuum equipment to a conventional double screw pump, which then ensures the transfer of fluids in a vacuum without any foaming occurring.
- Resistant to abrasive fluids.
- Liquids can be transferred without any foaming occurring.
- A noncontact pump with a strong self-priming capability.
- The shaft seal does not come in contact with the liquid, thereby requiring no mechanical seals.
- Widely used in a variety of industries, which include food (chocolate, ketchup, etc.), pharmaceutical products, and cosmetics (creams, capsules, etc.).

Tosoh’s high-performance hydrocarbon-based cleaning solvents
- From the era when ethane and CFCs were commonly used until today when hydrocarbon is being used, Tosoh has been a cleaning solvent manufacturer that has been a leader in industrial cleaning, and thus has both a long history, a proven track record and expertise.
- Nine grades of solvents are available, thus, the appropriate cleaning solvent can be proposed for different types of contamination, from oils through to water-soluble substances.
- It owns a cleaning laboratory (in Kanagawa) that has cleaning systems in place to make various tests possible.
- Tosoh’s products are always in stock at six OHGITANI branches in South East Asian countries and China.
Cathaylite-C (Rongalite; SFS equivalents)
